Account and data deletion

Elisei Badea. You can request deletion of your account and its associated data in either of
the two ways below.1. From the app or the website
- Sign in to the app or to otiux.com.
- Open Account → Profile.
- Scroll to “Delete my account” and confirm in the dialog.
2. By email
If you can no longer sign in, write to contact@otiux.ro from the account's email address, subject “Account deletion”. We confirm within 30 days at the latest (GDPR art. 12), usually much sooner.
Before you ask for deletion
If you have a confirmed booking with a future check-in — as a guest or as a host — deletion is refused until that booking ends or is cancelled. The other person booked on a commitment that is still live.
Credits are not refundable. Any remaining balance is forfeited on deletion; credits are personal and non-transferable.
What is deleted

Listings you published as a host are paused at the same moment and disappear from search.
What is kept, and for how long
A few records cannot be removed with the account, either because the law requires us to keep them or because they belong to someone else as well. They are no longer tied to your name: the account remains as “Deleted user”.
